Community Support Agency is dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse to reach personal goals to live independent and rewarding lives in the community. 

As a certified CABHA agency you can expect excellence in the delivery of services. Community Support Agency provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults for mental health, developmental disabilities, and/or substance abuse needs.

Community Support Agency is nationally accredited by the Council of Accreditation with over a combined 50 years of industry leadership experience committed to delivering result oriented services.  Established since 2007, Devoria K Berry, CEO had a vision for her community.  Mrs. Berry rooted in her profession was employed for 17 years at Southeastern Mental Health Center who understood the needs of her community located in the rural corners at the boarders of 5 counties.  Her compassion led her to provide quality mental and behavioral health community-based programs to serve the underserved by establishing an organization with diverse professionals, practitioners, and clinicians to effect change for mental health and well-being.

In 2008, Devoria Berry received the YWCA Cape Fear Women of Achievement Award in Business in recognition for outstanding contributions and achievements of women active in Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties.

As a community advocate, Mrs. Berry acknowledges community success is Community Support Agency’s investment, whereby:

  • Community Support Agency (CSA) is strategically located to serve 5 counties :

New  Hanover, Bladen, Columbus, Brunswick, and Pender.  The geographic compositions of these communities are primarily rural, impoverished, and underserved

  • Community Support Agency offers individuals a portal entrance for obtaining services through a continuum of care for treatment and recovery
  • Community Support Agency uses Cognitive Behavioral and Trauma Focused Evidence Based Therapy as their primary clinical modality for treatment and recovery
  • Community Support Agency provides a person centered and holistic approach for treatment and recovery
